Rivet Guns

Rivet guns join two or more pieces of material using a rivet. They're often used for sheet metal, cladding, ductwork and fabrication, particularly where you need a permanent fixing or can't easily access both sides of the material.

Our battery-powered models cover rivet diameters from 2.4mm to 6.4mm depending on the tool. Check the rivet diameter and material before choosing, as not every gun can handle every rivet within that range.

Potentially, but it depends on the gun's pulling capacity and the rivet size. Steel rivets generally need more pulling force than equivalent aluminium rivets, so check the tool's compatibility with your chosen fasteners.

Think about the materials you're joining, their combined thickness and the strength required from the connection. The rivet's grip range needs to suit the total material thickness, and the gun must be compatible with its diameter and material. If you're unsure, please get in touch - we'd be happy to advise!

If you're fitting just a handful of rivets, a hand riveter may be enough. But for repetitive work, a battery rivet gun takes away the repeated squeezing and makes it easier to keep working without the manual strain.
