NetRovers FAQs

A NetRover is a survey-grade GNSS receiver that connects to a correction network over mobile data, giving you real-time positioning without needing a base station.

That makes them a quick, flexible choice for setting out, topographic surveys or utility mapping.

NetRovers use NTRIP (Networked Transport of RTCM via Internet Protocol) to get corrections from an RTK network.

Because they rely on the internet, they're ideal if you're moving between sites or working in places where setting up a base isn't practical.

Our hire range includes trusted models from brands like Leica and Topcon, fully configured and ready to use with your correction service.

They're lightweight, easy to deploy and designed for long hours in the field - some even pair directly with tablets or data collectors to streamline your workflow.

If you've already got a correction subscription or access to a national RTK service, hiring a NetRover is one of the simplest ways to get centimetre-level GNSS accuracy out on site.

And hiring means you can scale up or down when you need to.
