SDS & Rotary Hammer Drills

SDS and rotary hammer drills are made for drilling into hard materials like concrete, brick and masonry. 

Unlike a standard percussion drill, the hammer mechanism delivers a stronger impact as the bit turns, making these machines better suited to larger holes, harder materials and more demanding drilling work.

We've got SDS-Plus and SDS-Max rotary hammer drills available for rental, from lighter machines for everyday drilling through to larger models for heavier work and bigger holes. There are 110V electric, cordless battery and pneumatic options available, with drilling capacities varying widely across the range. 

SDS-Plus is generally suited to smaller and medium-sized holes, while SDS-Max steps up to larger bits and tougher jobs.
