Trench Rammers

Trench rammers are used for compacting soil in tight or awkward spaces where larger machines won’t fit. They’re commonly used when backfilling around pipework, working in narrow trenches, or preparing ground for foundations.

Instead of spreading force across a wide area like a plate compactor, trench rammers work with a vertical ramming motion that drives force straight down. This makes them well suited to materials such as soil, gravel and sand, where deeper compaction is needed.

This helps create firm, well-compacted ground, which is especially important in areas that will be built over or carry weight.
