This course is designed for people who want to receive thorough first aid training. It is most suited to those working in high-risk environments, such as building sites or warehouses and will enable delegates to gain the knowledge and practical competencies needed to deal with a range of first-aid situations. Delegates will be able to demonstrate the practical administration of safe, prompt, effective first aid in emergencies with an understanding of the role of first aider.

This three-day course is for delegates with a specific responsibility at work or in voluntary and community activities to help people in a range of first-aid situations.

Delegates must be able to perform practical tasks at floor level, and due to the practical nature of this course, delegates should wear appropriate clothing and footwear, e.g. trousers and flat footwear.

Delegates need a basic command of English.
