If the instrument becomes wet, leave it unpacked. Wipe down, clean, and dry the instrument (at not more than 40 °C/ 104°F), transport case, foam inserts, and accessories. Pack up the equipment only when it is completely dry. When using the instrument in the field always close the transport case.
