The PASMA Low Level Access course will equip you with the specialist knowledge you need to work safely with any low level work platforms, often called podiums, pulpits, room scaffolds or podium steps to carrying out tasks at heights of under 2.5 metres.

Using a combination of theory and practical work, this course will leave you feeling confident you're working safely at low level heights.

The course is delivered through a combination of classroom-based tutorials and practical assignments. Delegates will be assessed through a mixture of theory and practical tests.

Delegates must pass the theory test before undertaking the practical element of the course.

No formal qualifications or experience are necessary, but it would be beneficial if delegates had a basic understanding of work-at-height issues.

This course is suitable for all delegates who work from low level access platforms with a maximum platform height no greater than 2.5m.

Since the safe use of mobile access towers requires that you consult safety notices and read and thoroughly understand the manufacturer’s instruction manual, literacy and language comprehension are essential for any tower user.

Similarly, since the assembly and use of mobile access towers can be physically demanding, users should be physically fit and healthy. Delegates should generally not have problems with eyesight or hearing, heart disease, high blood pressure, epilepsy, fear of heights, vertigo, giddiness, difficulty with balance, impaired limb function, alcohol or drug dependence, including prescribed drugs or psychiatric illness.

Upon successful completion of the course and registration with PASMA, delegates will be provided with their certification number that can be used to access their digital PASMA card via PASMA’s Towersure app.

The Towersure app is free to download on Apple iOS and Android devices. Our Trainers will talk you through this process at the start of your PASMA course.

If a physical PASMA card is required, these must be arranged with the training department before the course start date. An additional charge applies.
