360 Variable Reach and Rotating Turret – This course is for delegates with prior experience who can provide documented proof of previous formal training in a 360 Variable Reach and Rotating Turret Telescopic Handler truck up to 9m.  Delegates will gain a suitable and sufficient understanding of current legislation, best practices and the safe use of Telescopic Handlers in line with current approved methods and manufacturer’s instructions.

• Operators Safety Code
• Introduction to machine
• Pre-use inspections
• Controls and instruments
• Components and main types of lift trucks
• Refuelling systems
• Coolant, fuel and lubrication systems
• Emergency controls
• Manoeuvring over uneven ground
• Operators safety code
• Handling loaded/unloaded pallets and difficult-shaped loads
• Loading and Unloading flatbed lorries at various heights
• Associated Knowledge, Pre-use Inspection and Practical examinations

In order to undertake a ‘Refresher’ course, delegates need to have prior experience in operating a counterbalance forklift truck and provide documented proof of previous formal training.

Successful delegates will receive an AITT certificate showing the relevant truck category attained.
