CPCS A58 Excavator 360 Tracked below 10T - Experienced
This course is designed to provide delegates with the knowledge to correctly operate a 360 Tracked Excavator below 10 tonnes. It covers the theoretical and practical elements and is suitable for operators with 2+ years of experience.
The course is delivered through a combination of classroom-based tutorials and practical assignments. Delegates will be assessed through a mixture of theory and practical tests.
These will include:
- Operate the excavator safely and productively
- Fit and operate ancillary equipment
- Carry out minor adjustments and routine servicing procedures
- Understand the capabilities, purposes and limitations of each machine
- Follow all necessary safety precautions
- Interpret the information provided by level pegs and profiles
- Carry out necessary routine adjustments and service procedures
- Work to levels.
All delegates must have successfully passed a CITB Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) test, often referred to as the touch screen test, within the past two years.
This course is suitable for operators who have 2+ years of experience.
Delegates must have a good understanding of spoken and written English.
Successful delegates will receive a CPCS Red Trained Operator Card (on successful completion of the CPCS Technical Tests).
Companies that are CITB registered and meet their grant scheme eligibility requirements may be able to claim a short course duration grant. Please contact us for further information.
