Meet the Sunbelt Rentals Temperature Control team.

blog 21 Feb 2024

Proudly supporting the UK’s most prominent project sites with Temporary Power for many years now, Sunbelt Rentals recently took a positive step forward and expanded its offering to provide a suite of end-to-end energy solutions. Where previously our fleet consisted mostly of traditional Power Generation equipment like Generators, our new holistic offering pioneers innovation to incorporate Critical Power, Clean Energy, and most recently a Temperature Control capability.

As a new division with industry expert David Taylor at the helm, this is your opportunity to dive into exactly what Temperature Control means, what challenges it can help you overcome, and who makes up the rest of the team…

So, what is Temperature Control?

In dynamic environments where a fluctuation in temperature or climate state can be detrimental, Temperature Control as an offering stands in as the saving grace. At a high-level, Temperature Control refers to the ability to regulate and maintain fluid temperatures or the climate of an indoor space, regardless of external pressures like a rise or fall in outdoor conditions. There are countless instances where a Temperature Control solution may be required, which can be loosely categorised into; people, production and equipment. People refers to applications such as the heating or cooling of enclosed spaces to keep working and storage environments at an optimal temperature, whereas an example of production may be to keep food goods chilled in line with safe storage requirements, and equipment would reference the need to keep electronic or mechanical equipment safe from overheating during high seasonal conditions or down time during maintenance shutdowns.
