Chlorination Proceedures Training

This course is designed to guide operators and supervisors to carry out the chlorination process safely and how to follow safe practise by providing a clear and concise understanding of chlorination and de-chlorination procedures for service pipes up to trunk mains.  

The course is delivered through a combination of classroom-based tutorials and practical assignments. Delegates will be assessed through a mixture of theory and practical tests. 

These will include: 

  • Identifying most relevant equipment, pipe, and fittings
  • Completing pre-checks on pipe and equipment
  • Providing an understanding and demonstrating safe practice
  • Understanding and displaying industry best practice/techniques for chlorination procedures
  • Working out levels of chlorus for individual jobs
  • Checking chlorine residuals

This course is suited to operatives and managers who are required to oversee or carry out chlorination procedures.

Successful delegates will receive an EUSR photo ID card.
