Sigma Argos/ Samsung Rollout
Having recently been awarded Preferred Supplier status with Sigma Retail Solutions, Sunbelt Rentals were contacted to provide powered access equipment to support with the roll-out of 30 Argos stores nationwide, starting in Scotland and working down through the rest of the UK.

THE CHALLENGE
Sigma had a strict pre-planned delivery and collection schedule that Sunbelt Rentals needed to work to in order to prevent any disruption to the operational works. Each machine was on a short-term hire of 1-day with the stores located across the UK.
THE SOLUTION
Over a 6-week period Sunbelt Rentals delivered 36x SJ16 Vertical Masts and 7x Star 10 Vertical Masts to 30 locations. All equipment was self-delivered from our extensive fleet of powered access equipment, maintained by our specialist technicians. Delivering the project required close collaboration between many teams within Sunbelt Rentals, including the FM & Retail team, dedicated FM hire desk and powered access specialists, as well as the customer, ensuring all equipment was processed, delivered and collected for each site on the required date, preventing any disruption to the operational works. With the stores located across the UK, Sunbelt Rentals used its nationwide depot network to ensure all equipment was delivered and collected on time. All orders were closely monitored until the point of delivery, with real-time proof of delivery reports sent to Sigma, including images of the product(s) being delivered, allowing them to track the equipment throughout the process.
THE RESULT
The roll-out of all 30 stores went as planned and further solidified the relationship between Sunbelt Rentals and Sigma Retail Solutions.
