These popular lenses have a uniform maximum aperture of T1.3 and are lightweight and compact.

All lenses come with a 7 blade-iris, with exception of the later introduced 65mm which has 6 blades. ZEISS Super Speeds are high-quality, fast PL-mounted lenses perfect for all 35mm film and digital cinematography cameras. Featuring a very compact mechanical and optical design, they are also well suited for handheld & gimbal filming. The Master Prime lenses open up new creative opportunities, making shots possible that would have been considered impossible before. A widest stop of T1.3 allows shooting in low or available light for more natural-looking shots and a reduction of the lighting budget. In addition, a wide open stop creates the cinematic look of an extremely shallow depth of field.
