Sunbelt Rentals Crowned Access Rental Company of the Year

Sunbelt Rentals, the UK’s leading equipment hire company, is celebrating after scooping a prestigious international award.

The company beat off stiff competition from nominees in Dubai and Shanghai, to take home the title of ‘Access Rental Company of the Year’ at the International Awards for Powered Access (IAPA).

Jointly organised by Access International and IPAF, the annual awards celebrate best practice and excellence in the powered access industry and this year’s ceremony took place on Wednesday 6th March 2019 at Radisson Blu Dubai Deira Creek Hotel.

To be nominated in the ‘IPAF Access Rental Company of the Year’ category, Sunbelt Rentals had to be able to demonstrate exceptional financial performance, innovation, training, marketing of access rental services, customer service and raising awareness of safety.

The company is thrilled to have received an award in such a competitive category. 2018 has been an exceptional year for Sunbelt Rentals and we are thrilled that all of our hard work has been recognised at one of the industry’s most prestigious awards. Over the past 12 months Sunbelt Rentals has experienced phenomenal growth and the company’s powered access fleet has increased to over 4,500 machines. Furthermore, this year Sunbelt Rentals instructors have delivered working a height training to over 2,000 customers, both at Sunbelt Rentals Training Centres of Excellence and customer sites. We are also proud to have developed and launched a new fleet management system, Trackunit Access Control, to prevent unauthorised equipment usage, reduce costs, drive efficiency and improve safety across multiple sites.
