The Rapid Rotary Cutter from Steve Vick can make a circumferential cut in a 4 inch ductile iron main in approximately 2 minutes without damaging internal pipes.

Simple, fast, effective. Requiring only a single operator and a 10cm clearance around the main, the Rapid Rotary Cutter uses a safe cutting blade mounted away from the operator's hand and requires no water when cutting ductile iron.
